Here’s a classic pose for any kid sitting down at a table.
Turning their body to face the camera, this pose is a cute one.
Sitting on the floor like this pose is a great one.
While sitting on the floor, you can change the way the kid is sitting and where there hands are to get a new pose.
Who doesn’t like jumping up for a photo! With one person jumping, it’s easier to capture them in mid-leap.
Blowing a kiss can be another cute pose.
Use your environment. Have the kid peaking around the corner of a building, wall, or tree.
Have the kid hold a prop like a stuffed animal.
Here is a relaxed pose with the kid sitting on the floor leaning back.
Do a twirl and have the kid dance around!
Here’s a sweet pose with the kid leaning onto a table with their hands folded.
Get up high and have the kid sit on the ground looking up at the camera.
Then have the kid lean forward and wrap their hands around their legs.
Make sure you get down at their eye-level, and aren’t only shooting from up above.
Let the kids be silly to get some fun shots!

If sitting at a table, here’s a pensive pose for any kid.
Get a full body portrait with the kid standing up. Have them cross their arms, put their hands in their pockets, or hold them in front of them like this pose.
We can’t forget the parents when photographing kids. Here the kid is jumping on her father’s back.
Who wouldn’t love a photo like this one – full of so much love!
The family doesn’t have to look at the camera, like in this pose.
Great for babies or kids, have the parents look at the kid while the kid looks at the camera.
