Show off power with this crossed-arm pose. This one is a medium shot from the waste up.
This medium/close-up shot is another classic male pose with their arms folded.
Taken from an extreme angle, looking over the shoulder like this is a striking pose.
At less of an angle, you see more of the subject’s face in this pose.
If sitting down, this pensive pose might feel a bit awkward for the subject, but results in a classic image.
While sitting, try different positions for the hands like this one without the hands on the face. The man is leaning forward slightly in this pose.
A bit wider (a cowboy shot from the hip up), with hands on the hips, this pose is a bit more relaxed.
Similar to the above pose, this one is with one hand on a hip and the other one dangling.
This pose has a hand in one pocket and the other gently in front of the stomach.
Go in for the close up, and have the man put his arm behind his head.
Sitting/leaning on a table or wall like this is another great pose.
Find a table to do a variety of additional poses. This one has the man’s arms folded.
In this pose, the man frames his face with his arms while leaning on a table.
This playful pose has the man ruffling his hair.
Sitting straight up, squared to the camera, here’s a nice pose.
This is a similar pose with the hand in a different position.
This pensive pose is best done sitting down.
Growl. Looking for a sexy pose?
Full body shots are great options for a number of uses.
Have the subject look off to the side, instead of directly at the camera.
Try having the person put their hands in their pockets in this pose.
Use your environment like having your subject lean against the wall.
Have your subject sit on the ground. This position might be easier for men who can’t cross their legs completely.
Similar to the previous pose, here the subject is leaning back on the ground.
For a completely relaxed pose, have the subject lean back on their elbows.
