Combine Text and Photos in Photoshop

Ever wondered how to combine text and photos in photoshop? This is the effect I use when I want the shape of the text to be the ‘framing’ of the photograph. This could also be called created a mask with the text. There are different ways to do this, but the video below shows what I believe is the easiest way. The way I show in the video also doesn’t destroy the photo itself. You can move the photo around and adjust the position and size without changing the size of the text.
