How to Quickly Resize Photos in Lightroom

This Adobe Lightroom tutorial shows you how to quickly resize photos. Lightroom makes it easy to batch resize based off of image dimensions and image file size. So if you need to resize photos to post online due to a size limit or requirement, this is a great way to do it.

Instructions for Resizing:

1. Open Adobe Lightroom
2. Import photos to Lightroom
3. Select the photos you’d like to resize
4. Choose ‘export’ from the file menu
5. Choose where you want to export your photos
6. Choose a name for your photo exports
7. Check ‘Limit File Size To’ and input the file limit size you want
8. If limiting pixel size, check ‘Resize to Fit’ box and put max width size in the ‘W:’ box. Leave the ‘H:’ box blank, unless you need to limit height as well.
9. Click ‘export’
