Call-Out Titles | After Effects Tutorial and Free Template

Download the After Effects template for free!

Here is a fun After Effects template for a modern title technique called ‘Call-Out’ titles. I’ve been seeing a lot of titles in a similar style and this one is. This one is based off of a premium template you can purchase from VideHive here.

But as many of you know – I like creating my own motion graphics. So I took one of the samples and created this tutorial.

In the tutorial, the skills you’ll learn include:

•  creating shape layers

• animating shape size and position

• adding and animating trim paths

• adding and editing text

• adding a typewrite text effect and customizing it to go backwards

• attaching a path point to the background video / photo

I hope you enjoy this tutorial! If you have any questions regarding this tutorial, let me know! And if you have any more tutorials you want me to create, please comment below!
