We’re excited to announce all of the winners of our third annual Photography Masterclass photo competition.

Over 850 photos were submitted, making this year the hardest for our panel of judges. The submitted photos were judged on their creative composition, subject matter, lighting, technical skill, and ‘overall wow factor.’

Shot with an iPhone 6, this creative view of one of the world’s most photographed icons really stood out to us. It also proves that you don’t need the fanciest equipment to capture a beautiful image. Congrats Wyman!

Judging your photos is never easy. This year, we had a stacked competition, making it the most difficult one to judge yet. We look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work throughout the year!

How did judging work?

In the first round, the judges selected the top 75 photos out of the 850+ submitted. Then, the judges made a list of their top 10 photos, and ranked them first through tenth. Each ranking was given a certain amount of points, more heavily weighted to photos ranked higher. We added all of the points for the photos, and the photos with the most points one.
